The Oklahoma Society Daughters of the American Revolution are again offering several scholarships to worthy students. You must have attended an Oklahoma college or university in the fall semester 2018 and plan to attend college in Oklahoma next year. Both guys and gals may apply and an affiliation with DAR is not required. Deadline for submission is January 31st, so don’t wait. The application is easy to fill out. You will need two letters of recommendation, an activities list and an official transcript from your college.
Applications must be returned to Jan no later than January 31, 2020. Her contact information is in the packet. Do not send them to the State Chairman as they must be sent in by Jan. If you mail it, make sure it arrives by January 31st.
Please use the check list to ensure you have supplied all requested information. You will need two letters of recommendation, a goals statement, an activities list and an official fall 2018 transcript from your college. A financial sheet must be filled out as well but is only used in case of a tie between applicants. The application must be notarized. Most banks and your college registrar’s office should have a notary public.
